• Difficulty gaining or losing weight
• Chronic fatigue
• Hives, skin rashes, or eczema
• Joint stiffness or pain

Food Intolerance test
Food intolerances are not usually life-threatening, but they can cause a low-grade inflammatory reaction in your body. Over time, this can damage your gut and affect your immune system, leading to a variety of health problems.

Solution:

The good news is that food intolerances can be identified and managed with the help of a Food IgG test. This test measures the levels of IgG antibodies to specific foods in your blood. IgG antibodies are produced by your immune system in response to exposure to foreign substances, such as food. If you have a food intolerance, your body will produce higher levels of IgG antibodies against the foods you’re intolerant to. A Food IgG test can help you identify the foods that are causing your symptoms so that you can avoid them and improve your overall health.

How does the Food IgG test work?

The Food IgG test is a simple blood test that is done at our clinic. At Morkare, we use the Food Detective test which checks for IgG antibody reactions to 59 commonly eaten foods, to help you get to the bottom of their food reactions. The test is performed in the Clinic by our Clinical Nutritionist or Naturopath using a blood sample from a simple finger prick, and results are ready within 48 to 72 hours. The results of the test will show you which foods you have IgG antibodies to. These are the foods that you are likely to be intolerant to.

What can I do if I have a food intolerance?

We then work with you to come up with a treatment plan that removes the reactive foods for a period of time, while we work on improving your digestive health and healing your gut to reduce food sensitivities. If you think you may have a food intolerance, don’t guess. Test, don’t guess! A Food IgG test can help you identify the foods that are causing your symptoms and improve your overall health.
